Kids! Memory Verse Challenge 3

Our kids did an amazing job with Week 2's memory verse challenge! We had 12 kids memorize their verses from Preschool through 5th grade.

Week 3 has been convicting even for me as I teach the kids to memorize verses and hopefully do what they say not simply rote memorization. With these verses I've been challenged to check my answers are gentle in the midst of juggling work/life balance, thinking of heaven for the eternal perspective, and drinking from the fountain of life.

Here's Week 3's Challenge-with 2 weeks to memorize this time!

Embers (Preschool): is memorizing Proverbs 15:1

ESV: A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

(modified memorization: a soft answer turns away wrath, harsh word stirs up anger.)

Navigators (K-2nd Grade): is memorizing Colossians 3:2

NLT: Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.

(modified memorizations: think about heaven, not earth.)

BaseCamp (3rd-5th Grade): is memorizing Proverbs 14:27

ESV: The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death.

Happy memorizing! Thanks for faithfully joining us. If this week's were a little easy or they already have it memorized may I suggest an ALL 3 challenge?! Have kids recite all 3 verses they've learned so far!
