What does serving at Highland look like?
At Highland Baptist Church in Westminster, Colorado, we believe that serving is a vital part of our faith journey, allowing us to glorify God and build meaningful relationships within our church family. We offer a variety of ministries where you can use your unique gifts and talents to make a difference.
We believe that serving should be life-giving, not draining. That’s why we schedule volunteers with purpose, ensuring you have time to worship, grow, and connect while making an impact. In Kids Ministry, we ask for a one-year commitment on Sundays and a semester-long commitment on Wednesdays, so you can serve consistently without feeling overwhelmed. Every ministry commitment is designed thoughtfully, giving you the chance to pour into others while still being spiritually refreshed through worship, the Word, and fellowship.

We prioritize membership as the first step in serving. Becoming a member signifies your commitment to our church community and aligns you with our mission and values.
Spiritual Gifts
Once you're a member, let us know you're interested in serving by completing our volunteer interest form below. Our Office Manager will then contact you regarding the next steps, including a background check if necessary.
Indicate the ministries or roles you're passionate about. We have opportunities ranging from children's programs to worship teams, and more.
We encourage you to take a spiritual gifts survey to better understand where you might best fit within our ministries. This helps ensure that your service is both fulfilling and impactful.
